Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. after painful vaccines administration they
can cause swelling in the limbs which can continue for more than two months a also.
it does not require any treatment and should go away on its own.
after vaccination immediatelly you should start applying ice as well as thrombophob gel to prevent such swellings from persisting
RashmiMom of a 10 yr 11 m old girl2 years agoA. This is completely normal but just to be on the safer side if you can keep ice pack or ice cube on to the area where the vaccination has been given it is going to help in settling down swelling and pain from the area and even if there is no fever you can go ahead with repeating paracetamol after every six hours if your child has pain
