A. this is normal finding in some children. if your child is comfortable and accepting feeds and passing urine and gaining weight and if his body temperature is less than 100oF then its considered as normal. all the best for your child

A. Baby is just fine. Remember if in the room the temperature is comfortable for parents, it will be comfortable for the infant. Doc suggest to keep room temperature between 26-28. Our room temp is 26 as we are in Hyd and my kid is 3 month old. Kids sweat because they have sweat glands in the neck and for not moving for prolong hrs they tend to sweat but excess sweating is not good. it means he is feeling hot. so don't make him wear lot of layers and don't put blanket. an infant is a human and needs to be layered as per how u are clothing yourself. If u are not taking a sheet while sleeping n sleeping in shorts and t-shirt then the baby needs to sleep only in his T-shirt and pajama or shorts, no blanket. Just make sure he is away from AC direct air. If AC is on so no need for fan if fan is on then only on 2 number but it will get hot for the baby as temp in the morning rises. So just the cooler or AC is fine and no direct air plz it will cause cold otherwise. If co sleeping with u then mother's body heat causes sweat too. Try as my baby used to sweat alot but the moment we made the temp 26, he stopped sweating.

A. Use thermometer to assess fever. Excessive sweating is sometimes common for some babies. Reduced calcium level also cause excessive sweating
