my baby suffering from fever and cold and cough from 2 days and not sleeping,not eating well,can u suggest anything

Dr. Vaibhav jainFather of a 6 yr 1 m old girl4 years agoA. it is the flu. Some running nose or phlem is due to the common cold and flu due to season change . Steam along with other home remedy like maintain baby temperature will help . Other medications like paracetamol for fever can be given if any fever .

Call a doctor or seek medical care if a baby has a fever and one of the following: The baby is inconsolable, lethargic, or seems very sick.A fever lasts longer than 24 hours in a baby younger than 2 years old without other symptoms.The fever rises above 104°F (40°C).The child still seems sick with medication. Dress your child lightly. Excess clothing will trap body heat and cause the temperature to rise.Encourage your child to drink plenty of fluids, such as water, juices, or popsicles.Give your child a lukewarm bath. Do not allow your child to shiver from cold water. ...Don't use alcohol baths.

POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 10 m old boy4 years agoA. Warm Mustard Oil Massage Warm a cup of mustard oil with two cloves of garlic and a few kalonji seeds (Nigella sativa). Massage this infused oil onto your baby’s feet, chest, back, and palms. Wipe away the excess oil with a muslin cloth.
