Q.

My baby stopped breast feeding in the 4th month itself, he is 8 months old now and desires to breastfeed but I have stopped lactating completely. Is there any way I can relactate?

A. Relactation is possible, but it takes dedication and patience. Methods include more frequent skin-to-skin contact with your baby, trying to nurse often, and using a breast pump regularly to stimulate milk production. Consider taking herbs like Fenugreek or medications prescribed by a doctor that enhance milk supply. Consultation with a lactation expert will be helpful. Always remember to balance this process with your baby’s nutritional needs.
