Q.
My baby sneezes 4-5 times daily. but from last 4 days sneezing is 30-40 times with runny nose. first day she had fever.now no fever only sneezing a lot with runny nose. physician prescribed pcm drop and nasal drop.

Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination. steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medicine like alex cold/ hatric 3/ sinarest. As a part of viral illness there could be associated symptoms like cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydratcaion needs to be maintained .

Nihita mittalMom of 4 children4 years agoA. good evening I would recommend you to complete the entire course of treatment prescribed by the doctor apart from that it is advisable to try to give your baby indirect steam a couple of times
