Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. Sleeping pattern in children may be variable in different age group so if the baby is active and taking proper feeding with no other complaints most of the time there is nothing to worry.
You have to just see the child should not be uncomfortable which may be because of factors like temperature of the room nasal blockage some discomfort like infantile colic or hunger.
In older children a proper discipline is required so that the sleeping pattern can be scheduled according to a propher time try to avoid too much of screen time witjh sometimes can be the causative factor for disturbed sleep.
POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 5 m old boy1 Year agoA. At this age, we recommend striving for about 14.5 hours of total sleep over a 24-hour period [1], aiming for 11 - 12 hours at night, and 2.5 - 3.5 hours during the day spread out over 3-4 naps. Remember, when it comes to baby sleep, there's no one-size-fits-all!
