Q.

My baby's stool is watery. Is it normal? And how many times passing stool in a day is normal?

A. Loose motion most of the time is because of some infection which could be viral or bacterial and in such case it is associated with symptoms like fever along with vomiting and loss of appetite . supportive treatment is very necessary where proper hydration should be maintained by gjbiving ORS along with that probiotic can be given like enterogermina or econorm in a proper dose . Antibiotics has their role only if it is bacterial infection . for this doctor guidance is necessary .

A. It Could be due to some infection also because for about 10 to 15 days the school can be watery but after that slowly gradually becomes more binding still if the loose motion is there then you get a check with your doctor wants to rule out the possibility of an infection
