my baby's skin is very dry and get red spots and feel itching. she is 7months

Amrutha inMom of a 4 yr 11 m old girl3 years agoA. my baby had also similar problem.our paediatrician said that it will disappear before one year.and she give some oilments and moisturizer cream.Now my baby is okey.We didn't apply any type of oils, powder and soap on her body.

Sonam PrasadMom of 2 children3 years agoA. hi dear Many newborns develop a blotchy red skin reaction called erythema toxicum, which can appear between 2 days and 2 weeks after birth. Flat, red patches or small bumps often first appear on the face and spread to the body and limbs. The rash is harmless, not contagious, and will clear after a few days or a week.
