my baby's skin colour has been reduced after photo therapy, now it is gaining but very slow. may I know more about it please #asktheexperts

A. hi babies skin color depends on their genetic and environment. it keeps changing over period naturally. so please don't take stress for this. just dress your child in weather appropriate clothes. give massage to your child daily offer plenty of breastfeeds. maintain good hygiene.

Q. My baby is 6 days old and getting treated for jaundice as billrubin is 16.7 when started getting treated. Now it is reduced to 12.5 post photo therapy. However we wanted to get this reduced further. Hence he has been extended for next 12 hours for photo therapy. Today again first it has been checked through skin test not with CBC . The value is again high-16.7. What shall I do?
