it is usually present due to the throat mucus / thick saliva as well as respiratory secretions
which pass on from respiratory tract (parts of nasal cavity , oral cavity and throat) to the gastrointestinal tract by swallowing and then comes out through the anal canal mixed with the stool.
it may be present in less quantity during regular times and would be in more quantity during allergy as well as cough and cold in the child.z
mucus in the stool is also associated with gastrointestinal infections as a less constipation as well as indigestion.z
treatment is usually given according to the cause z

if your baby is totally on mother’s milk, then you should definitely make some changes in your diet plan because babies digestion totally depends on Mother’s diet. Rather than this still doesn’t get to leave then in such case you should definitely consult with your doctor about it.
