Q.

my baby's pediatrician prescribed 0.8ml of Atarax hydrozyne hydrochloride syrup whenever he is fussy and not sleeping. I use 0.5 ml of this syrup on him whenever he cries alot and don't sleep until 12am. is it safe to use this on my baby? is there any side effects of this syrup please adviceq

A. thanks for the response. I gave him this syrup only 5 times so far since 2months I try my best to make him sleep on his own but if all attempts fails I give him the medicine. please advise how to understand why he is not sleeping. how to understand his sleep patterns

A. the baby is 2 months also the sleep pattern of baby is very different in this age we should wait and just give comfortable position to the child do not use atarax all the time for sleeping
