my baby' s belly button is swollen ( called outie) just after 1 month as he born doctor said it is a umbilical harnia, when it will go away? any precautions need to take or remedies?

Janani ViswanathanMom of 2 children6 years agoA. If the umbilical hernia is tender or swollen or discoloured and causing discomfort to the baby then it should be examined by the pediatrician immediately. Or else it will cure on its own and can take upto a year.
