my baby's age 40 days and he doesn't passes stool 4daysand cried a lot, local doctor advice to use glycerine suppository which used yesterday.now he passes stool 5 times mucus like sticky and making sound when passing stool.is it matter of concern?

Author of questionFather of 2 children3 years agoA. From yesterday he doesn't sleep quitely , crying all the time. From yesterday he pases stool total 9 times. Little bit of stool coming out every time he passes gas and it seems he feels discomfort.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. No need to worry about the frequency and colour of the stool if the consistency of the stool is semif solid to solid.
Also there is no need to worry about the smell of the stool if the consistency is normal.
you have txo meet the doctor if it is watery inconsistency or hard consistency otherwise semi solid to solid stool is normal
