Q.
#asktheexperts my baby result in BERA test severe to profound hearing loss in HRCT MRI cochlear it's shows cholesteatoma and middle ear severe infection and full of fluid is there. but doctor says only cochlear implant is solution.my doubt is we treat for middle ear infection and cholesteatoma first after the treatment if same is persist I can go with implant.

After the child is better with an infection and all then you should go for an implant and before you take a decision I would advise you to take second and third opinion from another doctor so that you’re very sure about what you are going ahead with
