Q.
my baby put her hand on mouth every time. sometime she coughing, how to stop? using nipple is any problem?

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. finger, thumb, hand,things insertion in the oral cavity is very normal at this stage and usually it is due to teething pain the child is experiencing along with inflammation and pain in the gums.
just maintain hygiene of the child finger as well as any type of things which goes inside the roral cavity and also try to maintain the hygiene of your finger when you are touching the hands of the child.
to decrease the teefthing pain you can press the gums of the child and if the child is very irritable and crying for pain you can give paracetamol also.
it is a self limiting habit and no treatment is required.

Give teether or pacifier
Take healthy protein rich nutritious food including fenugreek ajwain butter to increase your breast milk avoid stress stay happy it also help to increase your breast milk you can take lactogen tablet to increase bm
Burp well after evey feeding by holding your baby in straight right position and wait for burping atleat ten minutes
