Q.

My baby pees 20 to 25 times a day since winter season. the average minimum temperature in our place is around 6°c. is it dur to cold and is it normal?

A. its normal in cold weather frequency is more. if frequency is atleast 8 per day ,dont worry. feed on demand. wear cotton clothes only. Wear weather appropriate clothing ,maintain cool environment. Make sure baby is comfortable while passing urine.

A. Babies frequently pass urine. Some babies may pass more and some less; there is no set rule for this. Some babies pass urine 12-15 times a day (or even more); others pass urine only 8 times a day. Whether the baby is breastfed or bottle-fed, as long as she passes urine at least 7-8 times in a 24-hour period OR should produce 6-8 heavy diapers per 24 hours.
