Q.
My baby passes gas n poops a little at the same time, which has made her preanal area reddish. She cries a lot when this happens. What causes this and any remedy to avoid her pooping very little very often

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. for gastric trouble you can give collicaid or gastica drops to your baby.proper burping for about 20mins to half an hour on the shoulder and tummy time after every feed helps a lot.cyclic motion of legs also relieves gases . gas related problem is very common in small babies because of many factor including immaturity of the digestive system,as well as usually in babies of 1- 3 months of age it is a very common finding to spit the milk after feed which is called as posseting.it can bek reduced by giving a proper burping after every feed. please see that you are not over feeding the child also .if it ish very frequent you can give domstal drops also occasionally but only under medical guidance.you can give bonnisan drops too for better digestion.
