my baby not responding to his name most of the time..but he is interactive player n will laugh when we say something....he used to say amma ...papa...sometimes.......remaining all things are ok...but not responding to his name most of the time...

A. mam kids start to speak small words like maa and paa by the age of two years. so please wait for sometime. if the kid is active and taking food properly then no need to panic. try to talk to the baby more. recite poems and stories to the kid. give soaked and mashed almonds on daily basis.
