#paediatrician my baby not passing stool for 7 days. what to do. can I put soap in anus.

ExpertDr. Swapnil SaxenaAyurvedic Physician5 years agoA. hi actually mother's milk is almost completely absorbed and nothing much is left to pass through motion regularly if baby is cranky then anal suppository can be used but if he is normal you can just comfort him of the gases

ExpertDr. Swapnil SaxenaAyurvedic Physician5 years agoA. hi no you should not put soap water in anal region!! exclusive breastfeeding babies may Skip passing motion regularly .you can use of glycerine suppository if baby is on a comfortable you can make him do cycling motion of legs massage the tummy in gentle circular motion and give tummy time

Neha SharmaMom of a 11 yr 3 m old boy5 years agoA. You can try this also,but if you re breastfeeding your baby then change your diet,drink lots of water ,drink fennel water,avoid eating spicy oily and fried food,don't stress yourself,take proper sleep and rest.
