This is very important for building the immunity also.
Encourage for green vegetables fruits dairy products all kinds of dal and other protein containing food items like soyabean eggs etc.
Some nutritional deficiencies can be a cause for less appetite like iron deficiency which is most common.
Supplemecynts like iron supplements and multivitamin with lysine like syp zincovit CL can be given for 1-2 mgonths to increase the appetite.
Diet counselling is also very important .
