Q.

My baby just got a cut at his forehead, we rush him to the doctor and performed the dressing but he refuse to give TT inj as he said a 2 years 2 months kid doesn't need any TT shots.. is that your ???

A. since you might have already took vaccination to the baby the effect will last for 10 years tt vaccine is included in immunization schedule It's hard to comment upon without proper examination it would be better if you consult your doctor for proper examination and medication maintain hygeine in the area clean with Luke warm water maintain hydration and keep a track on urine output

A. Hello mom If your baby get a cut by a rusted item then in such case you should definitely give a TT injection to your baby otherwise there is no need. Mostly these injections also covered during vaccination so you don’t have to worry and if it is advised by Dr then there is nothing to worry about it
