Q.

My baby is vomitting last night for 6-7 times suddenly. After giving ondem syrup vomitting stopped and now sleeping. he was taking rice, vegetable dal and 1 boiled egg in night. What to do now if vomitting continues? can I give Liquid ors?

A. after recurring nausea/ vomiting wait for one hour then give vomiting medicine (syp ondem/emeset) 5ml and then again wait for one hour and then give only easily digestible food. do not give anything to eat in this 2hr waiting period. if vomiting occurs again then meet your doctor. avoid giving milk and heavy diet. vomit usually occurs due to gastritis yes can give ORS AND easily digestible food
