my baby is two years today. and he has a little runny nose and little cough. it's been a day only. wich over the counter medicine will be good for him. no other symptoms. plz reply soon

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Cold is a viral illness and symptoms could be sneezing, running nose, cough sore throat, nasal congestion and fever. Treatment consists of antihistamines antipyrectics analgesics and decongestants . steam inhalation wcould be beneficial . Medicines like sinarest/wikoryl / Alex cold can be given in a proper dose according to the weight for 3-5 days as per the symptoms .
