A. this is known as gastrocolic reflex. gastrocolic reflex is very normal in children. in this phenomena the child is having semi solid to solid stool after every episode of of food intake. if the growth of the child is proper there is no need to worry about this phenomena. it is also advisable to continue curd buttermilk apple and banana which will help in proper digestion ofd food. usually this phenomena decreases with increasing age of the child. but if the consistency of stool is watery or very very hard meet your doctor. also rule out worms problem in the child. d

A. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much. It can be due to some bacterial infection in the baby. But it is really very difficult to say anything without proper examination of the baby. It is advisable to get the baby evaluated by a doctor and follow doctors advise properly. You can also book online doctor’s appointment on FirstCry where the doctor can help you and guide you properly Thanks and take care
