You have to see the child has to be six months complete after that you can start giving food to the child so to begin with you can give Dal and rice water followed by all kind of fruits and vegetables purée steam all the vegetables and fruits you should not steam along with that you can give varieties made out of ragi Suji and oats you can add salt necessary spices Desi ghee and butter to the food just avoid chilli till the age of eight months initially the consistence is going to be liquid and then slowly to semi solid to solid over the months to gather and you should try and give good amount of water as well and good number of dairy products
