My baby is turning 6 months coming 10 days Her formula stage 1 is over Is it safe to give stage 2 now

A. A lot of parents start stage two immediately after completing the time of six months of the child is unable to digest the milk and suffer with constipation and indigestion which is why you should actually start giving it after completing the time of seven months not before that

My daughter is 5 month old she will turning 6 months this September 27 we are giving her similac stage 1 ,doctor told to start stage 2 .But in hyderabad we are not able to get Stage 2 stock we have enquired all pharmacy. So can we use any other formula milk for time being till we get the supply .Doctor told us mix similac stage 2 with stage 1 initially before starting stage 2 .
