My baby is turning 6 months and seems to be very interested in food. She gets over excited to see food in our plates and hardly let us eat. Even if someone else is eating, she starts opening her mouth and starts drooling. I am not sure if this behavior is normal. What if she gets habitual of behaving in similar way.

A. It is an absolute normal behavior. infact it is an indication that her motor co-ordination skill are well developing .

A. That's a stage every baby goes through. It's normal behavior which means your baby is ready for semi solid food.

A. Its normal mommy. My baby is eight months and still doing that, when i feed him he wont eat but when we eat near him he comes to grab our plate, so i have started offering him food from my plate now.

A. I have already started weaning her stills she seems to be very impatient.

A. same here dear my daughter is do same thing ....some time we feel what to do...mean feeling like we eat but she is hungry...but when she will complete 6 month than we will give some sami solid..so don't worry..she is very excited to see all things

A. dont worry. she jst gets excited to see new colours and differeny items is front of her. u mst gv her little bit of et ur eating. it wil.help her develop all types of tastes and she wud get a habbit of eating from a plate.

A. maybe it is indicative. time to start solid food. consult your Paediatrician

A. It is absolutely normal.My baby did the same. You might have to struggle once you start giving her semi solid food
