Q.
my baby is three months old and he has runny nose. how to make him feel better. he is too uncomfortable because of the runny nose and sneezing. please suggest if it is okay to use contus drops

Author of questionMom of a 3 yr 4 m old boy3 years agoA. Hi Doctor thank you so much for the response He doesn't have continuous running nose. only sometime it is like that and nose blockage but not very often he doesn't have fever or any other symptoms

Cold is most of the time because of viral illness and if the child is having recurrent running nose and nasal congestion it may be a part of allergic rhinitis also so it needs a proper examination. steam inhalation will be beneficial in both the cases along with decongestant medhicine like alex cold/ hatric 3/ sinarest. As a part of viral illness there chould be associated symptoms like cough and fever which needs treatment accordingly along with a proper hydration needs to be maintained .
