Father of a 10 m old boy7 months ago
Q.

My baby is taking formula milk. Past one week my milk supply is getting better like 30ml per side. When I gave him BM he slept stretched 3 hrs or 2 hrs. If I feed him inbetweeen he won’t drink even formula milk and not crying when he’s hungry inbetween. I’m confused on my BM supply and amount of milk he’s drinks how it will be sufficient for him if he’s getting 20-30ml of BM milk

A. Namaste Mom, Could be possible that the breast milk is quite filling for the baby, though it is good if you give your milk the priority as well and rest take support of formula, best way to check if the feed is sufficent ,when their is progress in weight gain of the baby , and the baby is quite active for his age and pasing urine and motion well
