Author of questionGuardian of a 3 yr 2 m old boy2 years agoA. Nebulising him already since 5 days. Went to his pediatrician too. She checked him up well and said that there is mild congestion in his chest and wil subside within 3 days of medication. Today is the 3rd day I am giving him medicine but there is not at all improvement in his coughing. He feels very uncomfortable. He had little temperature too for the past few days but there is no fever right now, only runny nose and persistent cough. What should I do?
Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children2 years agoA. it depends it is allergy or infection. in monsoon season baby will be having cold and cough frequently due to viral infections sometimes allergies please give steam inhalation frequently and saline drops in the nose of the baby

Well that is going to be completely dependent on the problem as to why your child is having this issue so if it is not subsiding as of now then you should nebulise your child maybe there is major congestion but nebulisation is going to be very helpful in reducing down the congestion so I suggest you to nebulise your child at least for one week twice in a day
