Q.

My baby is suffering from cough where i had consulted my nearest pediatrician.He has prescribed antibiotic to my baby in a quantity of 1 ml and with that one oral drop cough syrup. Is it ok to give antibiotics to 4 months old baby?

A. Cough and Cold along with the symptom like Fever loss of appetite irritability could be a feature of viral infection or seasonal flu where mosgt of the time supportive treatment is given. along with that cough exhpectorant and decongestant with antiallergic medicine given. steavm inhalation can be given frequently to relieve the symptoms.
