My baby is suffering from constant cough, how to ease it

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Cough along with Cold most of the time is a viral illness and it needs supportive care along with proper hydration. you can give steam inhalation which is very useful .
cough needs to be treated with anti allergic and expectorant bronchodilators or antitussives medicine whichvd should be given only after a proper evaluation by the doctor according to the type of cough.
if fever is there paracetamol can be given to reduce the fever and the dose can be repeated after 6 hours again if required .

Sarika guptaMom of 2 children3 years agoA. hello there ma'am please do not worry about it too much and if baby is having cough for a long time then better to evaluate once with doctor in person and also. find out the exact reason.. and also give baby ginger juice with honey twice a day.
