my baby is sucking his thumb finger frequently while watching tv, mobile how to overcome this habbit?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. Thumb sucking in infants is a very normal phenomenon and its called mouthing reflex and nothing to be worried about it just maintain proper hygiene and with time this thing will go .
In the toddlers thumb sucking habit is also seen many a times which could be phycological cause and feeling of insecurity or some stress . Just try to make the child comfortable and divert irn some activities also spend good time with the child .
In extrdeme case withdrawal can be tried with some solution available which are bitter like femite lotion . It needs to be applied locally .

You should provide some hand toys to your baby it will help to distract your baby and within next few days we we will stop doing it. Still your baby doesn’t stop doing it done in such case you can start using femite drops. It is one of the best and you can apply it on babies fingers sometimes babies vomit after it so don’t get worried this is totally
