Q.
my baby is six months old. she is not sitting yet on her own.can we start semisolid food like apple puree in sleeping position or is it necessary to give in sitting position?

ExpertDr. Mohammed imranPaediatrician4 years agoA. I parent your kid is just 5 months old it is not advisable to give fruit puree is in a sleeping position as they may aspirate or cause ear congestion, sitting without support usually occurs by 9 to 10 month of age so have patience

Do opt ever feed the child whole being in laying down position as that can lead to choking as well.
