my baby is passing the stool in a gap of 2-3 days. along with this he is also pukes the milk out after feeding and burping. please suggest if this is normal or should I consult a doctor.

A. dear mum, it is normal for many exclusively breastfed babies to pass stool every 7 to 8 days. consult doctor if stomach appears to be bloated. puking of milk after feeding is also normal. continue to burp baby after every feed. keeping the head and chest at a level higher than stomach helps to reduce the chances of vomit.
