Q.
My baby is passing stool everyday. But I could see, my baby is straining a lot while passing stools. Can we consider it is normal, or needs any medication?

Dr Raksha guptaMom of a 10 yr 1 m old boy4 years agoA. Small babies stool frequency varies as they grows. They may pass stool once in 10 days ,or may pass 10 to 15 times a day in small quantities, golden yellow in colour froothy in nature.so nothing to worry till it associate with abdominal distension, lethargy.
