Loose motion are most of the time infective where it is associated with fever and vomiedting and its known as gastroenteritis where symptomatic treatment along with management for dehydration is required if loose motions are associated with foul smell mucofus high grade fever than it could be bacterial infection which needs antibiotics treatment

Ankita MehtaMom of a 9 yr 3 m old girl3 years agoA. hi give natural probiotics like fresh curd buttermilk etc more keep your child well hydrated. avoid giving heavy food items. give light food like khichdi, curd rice with roasted jeera powder, upma, fruits to your child.
