Q.

my baby is one month n 22 days old today. for a few days I m observing that her nutritional needs have increased, n she is not satisfied with my breastmilk alone, in some of the feeding sessions. I m giving her 60ml of formula after such sessions. I m very worried, if this formula feeding after unsatisfied breastfeeding hamper/affect my breastmilk production? pls guide.

A. Hello there ma’am please do not worry about it too much and it is always advisable to give baby breastfeeding exclusively for the first six months and if baby pee count is above six times that means baby is having sufficient milk. Also have shatavari powder with cow milk twice a day and have soaked meethi seeds early in the morning to produce more milk. Take care
