A. by 1 year baby will be saying monosyllables atleast. it will improve eventually, and by 2 years baby should be able to follow simple commands and should speak 2 word sentences. by 3 years it's 3 word sentences. may vary a little

A. Baby can start to say monosyllables like ma, da at 6 -7 months of age. And Bisyllables like mama, dada, at 9-10 months of age Baby start to say 2 words at 12-14 months of age And jargon speech come at 15 -16 months of age. Baby can speak simple sentences of 2-3 words at 20-24 months of age. Some babys achieve these at early and some may be delay in achieving that. No need to worry for that.
