A. It's common for babies to become fussy and not sleep when they are overtired, hungry, or overstimulated. Your baby may be feeling hungry but is too tired or upset to feed calmly, which creates a cycle of fussiness. Try to calm her with gentle rocking, soft singing, or dim lighting, then offer milk once she settles a bit. Keeping a consistent feeding and sleep routine can help her understand when it’s time to eat or rest. If this behavior happens often, observe any patterns and talk to your pediatrician to rule out issues like gas, reflux, or discomfort.
