Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy1 Year agoA. in first six months the minimum weight gain should be 500 mg per month and it can go up to 1 kg per month also.
the urine output should be more than 6 to 7 times per day. the child should sleep after taking feeding.
meet the doctor for weight assessment.
if the above criteria is achieved then thez child is having adequate milk intake.
if the growth of the child is proper there is no need to worry about the slzeeping pattern/ feeding as well as the stool frequency of the child
RashmiMom of a 10 yr 11 m old girl1 Year agoA. There is no problem in giving formula feeding to meet up to the appetite of the child but currently I’m going to suggest you to have Shatavari powder it’s a good lactation supplement you can have it three times with the with warm milk in the day that should help in increasing lactation otherwise combination feeding is just fine if you cannot make up to that amount of milk
