ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist7 years agoA. very few babies are lactose intolerant. if your baby has been truly identified as lactose intolerant then baby may not be able to tolerate animal products including ghee,butter . depending upon severity you may try giving little amount of ghee along with food and not on empty stomach. however baby can easily digest curd, buttermilk it does not contain lactose. keep on breastfeeding your baby it is well tolerated give Calcium from other sources light green leafy vegetables , nuts, soya
