A. If your 17-month-old baby is constipated and has passed blood in their stools, it's essential to seek medical attention promptly. Blood in stools can indicate various underlying issues, including anal fissures, constipation-related tears, or more severe conditions. In the meantime, ensure your child stays hydrated, offer plenty of fluids, and consider giving them foods high in fiber to help soften their stools. However, consulting a pediatrician is crucial to determine the cause of the bleeding and to provide appropriate treatment.
