Q.
my baby is having stony stool with a dark green colour n bad odour. what's the reason nd tell me remedy for it.

ExpertAlapati HariPaediatrician7 years agoA. Hi, it could be due to constipation, use warm oil and massage the stomach starting from right to left side in a circular manner. Make sure you have screened your baby for hypothyroidism. Once you start solids it may settle

Green stool can be due to foremilk hindmilk imbalance in breastfed babies feed longer on one breast so that baby gets hindmilk which is rich in fat If giving bottle Maintain hygiene if stool frequency increases or consistency is very watery consult Paediatrician

Sudipta SenMom of a 8 yr 3 m old boy7 years agoA. r u giving iron drop?then stop it..need to take lots of water..try to giving boiled plain rice instead of raw rice..give smashed banana..you can give rantac drop 1.5 ml once in empty stomach..these may help you..

priyanka aroraMom of a 10 yr 9 m old boy7 years agoA. it can be stomach infection as breastfeeding mother you should increase your fluid intake and breastfeed your baby will give me time to your baby maintain hygiene and you should not take hot meals or spicy food it is the reason of bad smell poop
