Q.

my baby is having molluscum contagiosum. dermatologist advised to apply retino A 0.05 once in a day for ome month. he is 2.5 years. is it ok to apply it for the babies?

A. Hello, your baby boy is 2.5 years old and he is having a mollusum contagiosum,so it will fade-away automatically after few months or you have to remove it by dermatologist.

Hello my 2 year old abby facing the exact same issue. please help me how you treated and how much time it took as I visited doctors they are saying to leave them as it is they are saying Mollu6will go by its own. But they are spreading much. please help me how much time it took for your baby and how you treated I am so much worried your reply would really help me

A. mollascum contagiosum is a viral infection it has to be treated by cauterization i are application of retinol give a trial as advised by your doctor if no response problem it has to be removed by other ways

A. if it is advised by your doctor then there is no problem because the doctor must have seen the requirement of the medicine. many times this problem subsides and then comes again and will persist for many months and then will go away. kindly do not worry
