my baby is having molluscum contagiosum. dermatologist advised to apply retino A 0.05 once in a day for ome month. he is 2.5 years. is it ok to apply it for the babies?

ExpertDr Mahesh PatilPaediatrician5 years agoA. Hello, your baby boy is 2.5 years old and he is having a mollusum contagiosum,so it will fade-away automatically after few months or you have to remove it by dermatologist.

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children5 years agoA. mollascum contagiosum is a viral infection it has to be treated by cauterization i are application of retinol give a trial as advised by your doctor if no response problem it has to be removed by other ways
