Q.

My baby is having a mild blood infection and the heamoglobin levels are low. Some people saying that giving curd rice to the baby reduces the red blood cells count and increases the white blood cells count. Please do let me know is that true???

A. it's false.. to increase haemoglobin.. give iron rich diet to your baby.. Pulses, such as baked beans, kidney beans, chickpeas, garbanzo beans, lentils, and peas are extremely good for your baby as they are rich in iron. Broccoli, Beet root, lufa, and Spinach is another iron-loaded vegetable. Dried apricots, figs, raisins and prunes can be healthy finger food.
