Q.

My baby is having 101 fever we went to the doctor he gave us paracetamol after giving medicine the temperature came down but now we checked it is again101 but she sleeping now Should I give her medicine while sleeping or give her in the morning please help I am worried

A. Fever is when the temperature of the body goes above 99 degree fahrenheit and the safest medicine in such situation is paracetamol which can be repeated after 6 hours again if required in a proper dose . Afflternative medicine can also be tried if required like ibuprofen and mefenamic acid preparations. cold sponging of the whole body with tap water can be beneficial too to bring the temperature down .

A. hello actually please keep a check on the temperature regularly and once in 4 to 6 hours you can repeat the medication as per the doctors dosage as well as you have to keep a check on the temperature also if fever is more than hundred it is better to give the repeat the medication
