Q.

my baby is coughing in sleep since two days , occasionally she makes sound of clearing throat , sneezes intermittently, what to do

A. they are respiratory secretions which is present in the narrow respiratory tract of the child. the sound of ghar... ghar.. is present when air passes over these secretions in the narrow respiratory tract. if the respiratory rate of the child is within normal limits and the child is not having any other complaints do not worry about the sound which is present due to respiratory secretions. if you feel that the child is having some difficulty in breathingd you can always give nasal saline drops in the nasal cavity which will wash away the mucus present in the nasal cavity as well as thfe respiratory tract. the problem improve with increasing age of the child when there is broadening of the respiratory tract .

A. Check with your doctor maybe there is genuinely some issue that your child is going through and once you get it exam it with the doctor they will be able to help you with appropriate medication to go ahead with which would help in solving the problem for your baby Chai
