Q.
My baby is coughing at night a lot...any home remedy that I can give..plzz help

ExpertDr. Hemendra GuptaPaediatrician6 years agoA. I would suggest you to not to use any home remeady for such a small child as it may be harmful to your child so its better to consult a pediatrician to have a detailed physical examination of your child and relevant treatment accordingly

Janani ViswanathanMom of 2 children6 years agoA. Sometimes cough only during nights may indicate overfeeding. My kids when overfed used to cough in sleep and eventually vomit. So keep a check on that factor as well.

Janani ViswanathanMom of 2 children6 years agoA. For cough, while boiling water at the end add some jeera or cumin seeds. Give this water two or three spoons instead of water. Take a cup of water with well cleaned tulsi leaves in it. Boil this mixture until the water us reduced to half. Then once the water is lukewarm u can filter it and give few spoons to the baby. But this water may be bit spicy so take appropriate care while feeding it to the baby.
