#momscare my baby is buting while breastfeeding and hence it is becoming extremely painful for me He is 5months old and is exclusively breastfed. How can I prevent the biting and soothe myself

A. Hi momma, Ensure that you get a good latch while putting baby on your breast and use gentle pressure on baby's back, between shoulder blades to keep baby in position. That wat mostly bahy will not be able to bite. One of the reasons baby bites is because of bad latch or if milk flow is more or less than what baby expected. Gently remove the baby from breast when bahy bites and firmly tell him no biting. Repeating this instruction may get baby to understand.
